适合与不适合When to use it, when not to

适合：要一个账号撑起 IDE/插件/CLI/云端全家桶、托管跑长任务（Cloud Agents）、上下文体系完整、可自带模型。不适合：找国内合规叙事（那是 Qoder CN 线）、还在依赖 Quest 视窗（2026-10-15 已退役）。

Fits: one account spanning IDE/plugin/CLI/cloud with a full agentic loop, managed long-running tasks (Cloud Agents), a complete context stack (Repo Wiki/memory/Skills), BYOK for your own models. Not a fit: looking for the domestic-compliance narrative (that is the Qoder CN line); still relying on the Quest window (retired 2026-10-15).

Cloud Agents is the official managed surface: fully managed runtime, Sessions run in the cloud, results stream back in real time; the Quest window in Qoder IDE (an async task workflow) was officially retired at 2026-10-15 23:59 UTC+8 — the official notice gives a timeline and migration advice (move to Qoder or keep using the Editor window). The official "Access Permissions" page: pick the permission mode before sending a task / during execution, default Ask for approval (key operations request approval), covering files, terminal, network and enabled tools; changing the permission mode does not change the task's workspace or execution mode. The account system uses a qoder.com account; on the enterprise side there are Teams/Enterprise plan pages (governance details not verified item by item).

Qoder and Qoder CN (formerly Tongyi Lingma) share the Qoder brand but are two product lines: the domestic line qoder.com.cn (dossier qoder-cn), the international line qoder.com (this dossier). The docs.qoder.com customer-case pages mention "Alibaba Qoder" and a "Qoder workshop hosted by Alibaba Cloud", pointing at the same Alibaba umbrella; but the official docs give no cross-reference page on the two lines' relationship.
